Most DPP tools stop at data entry. Certico is a consumer engagement platform.
Create the passport. Tell the story. Then keep your customers coming back.

CRM & Campaigns
Segment consumers by product, wear count, or days owned. Send targeted campaigns. Set up automated triggers — care reminders after 30 days, re-engage unworn items, welcome new owners.
Consumers scan a QR code, add items to their wardrobe, get AI outfit suggestions, track their environmental impact, and request repairs — all from their phone. No app download needed.

🇪🇺 ESPR COMPLIANCE
Know exactly where you stand
Every passport is checked against 22 EU requirements across 6 categories. You get a score, a grade, and a clear list of what to fix — before the regulators do.
Two lines of HTML. That's it. Your existing product pages get passport data, eco scores, material breakdowns, and compliance badges — without rebuilding anything.
The only DPP platform with a built-in secondary market
Other platforms stop at compliance. Certico tracks the product from factory floor to second owner — and keeps brands connected the entire way.

Verified Resale Marketplace
Consumers list items from their wardrobe. Buyers see the full verified history — every owner, every repair, the original factory. No other resale platform can offer this. Vinted relies on photos. We have cryptographic provenance.

Direct Consumer Engagement
When a customer scans and saves a product, the brand gets notified. From the Engage tab, send targeted campaigns — care reminders, styling tips, new season alerts, loyalty rewards. A CRM built on real product relationships, not email lists.
Everything you need to know about Certico and ESPR compliance.
Is ESPR compliance actually mandatory?+
Yes. The EU Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation requires Digital Product Passports for textiles sold in the EU from January 2027. Brands that aren't ready face market access issues. Certico checks your passports against all 22 ESPR requirements.
What if my suppliers don't use Certico?+
Invite them with one click — they get a free supplier account. Or send data requests to their email. They fill in the fields, you review and approve. No software switch needed on their end.
How long does setup take?+
First passport: under 5 minutes. If you have a spreadsheet, batch import handles hundreds in seconds. Most brands have their full catalogue live within a day.
Can I integrate with my existing systems?+
Yes. REST API with full CRUD on passports, compliance checks, and analytics. API key auth, versioned endpoints, webhooks for real-time notifications. View API docs →
How does pricing work?+
Free for up to 10 passports — no card needed. Pro is £99/month (or £79/month annually) for unlimited passports, analytics, CRM, and custom branding. Enterprise pricing for large deployments with API access and dedicated support.
Is my data secure?+
All data encrypted in transit and at rest. Enterprise-grade PostgreSQL with automatic backups. Role-based access control. Your data is yours — export anytime.

🇪🇺 ESPR Compliance
What is ESPR?
The Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) is EU legislation requiring Digital Product Passports for textiles and other products sold in the EU market.
Certico uses Ecobalyse, the French government's open-source environmental impact calculator, to provide accurate sustainability metrics for your products.
📊 How is it calculated?
Ecobalyse uses parametric Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) — not generic category averages. It calculates environmental impact based on:
Your specific materials — cotton, polyester, wool, blends with exact percentages
Manufacturing countries — where spinning, fabric production, dyeing, and assembly happen
Product type — t-shirt, jeans, dress, jacket, etc. (affects weight and processes)
Product mass — heavier products = higher impact
🎯 How accurate is it?
More accurate than category averages (like Worldly's generic estimates) because it calculates based on YOUR inputs.
Less precise than a full LCA (which costs £5-20k and takes weeks) but sufficient for EU ESPR compliance and consumer transparency.
✅ Why use Ecobalyse?
Free & open-source — developed by French government (ADEME)
EU compliant — meets ESPR environmental labeling requirements
Enterprise-grade — same parametric models that paid tools charge £thousands for
💡
Bottom line: Ecobalyse gives you credible, defensible environmental data that's far better than guessing or using industry averages — and it's free.
