Wingman is a personal smart-glasses companion plugin for the Even Realities G2. This policy describes what the plugin does with your data and what it does not.

1. What data Wingman handles

Glasses device status (battery, wearing state, connection state) — read from the Even Hub SDK bridge and shown in the plugin's HUD status card. Not transmitted to Wingman servers unless explicitly pushed by the user.
User-initiated input events (touchbar taps, R1 ring gestures) — used locally to navigate pages and dismiss the display. Not transmitted.
Insight content received from the user's own Wingman backend (churchill.taild11a1e.ts.net) — this is the text the HUD displays. The Wingman backend is operated by the same operator and is scoped to the individual user.

2. What Wingman does not do

No microphone access, no camera access, no photo/file access.
No location collection from the glasses or phone.
No analytics, no advertising SDKs, no third-party trackers.
No data sold, shared, or rented to third parties.

3. Where data flows

The plugin maintains a WebSocket connection to a single endpoint: the user's own Wingman backend. All traffic is TLS-encrypted. The backend is operated by the same operator as the plugin and is accessible only to the user who owns it.

4. Storage

The plugin does not persist any personal data on the glasses or phone between sessions. Connection tokens are provided at install time and stored in the Even Hub app's own secure storage.

5. Children

Wingman is not directed at children under 13 and is not intended for use by children.

6. Your rights

Because Wingman does not collect data server-side beyond what the user has explicitly configured their own backend to receive, data subject rights (access, deletion, portability) can be exercised by the user directly against their own Wingman backend. For questions, contact privacy@certico.io.

Material changes to this policy will be reflected here and in the plugin's listing. The "last updated" date above tracks the current version.
